The story behind the name

Juniper.

Born with a deformation in her front leg. Dumped on Craigslist at four months old. Given a custom prosthetic by a company that builds them for all kinds of species.

Our flagship lift is named for her.

About

Somnus was built from inside the work.

Somnus was founded by a 40-year Registered Veterinary Technician whose career in animal research put her hands-on with pigs every day — and made the gaps in available equipment impossible to ignore.

Somnus exists to close those gaps — to make handling and procedures calmer, cleaner, and more dignified everywhere they still happen.
