How to use it.

While holding the laryngoscope in the pig's mouth, use the other hand to place the Intubation Assist into the pig's mouth.
- 02
Gently sweep behind the epiglottis to free the epiglottis.

Lay the tool down.

Grab the ET tube and intubate.

- How is it used during intubation?
- While holding the laryngoscope in the pig's mouth, use the other hand to place the Intubation Assist into the pig's mouth. Gently sweep behind the epiglottis to free it, lay the tool down, then grab the ET tube and intubate.
- Can the tool be left in the patient's mouth?
- No. The tool is used only to gently reposition the epiglottis and should not be left in the patient's mouth. Once the epiglottis is free, the tool is laid down before the ET tube goes in.
